Darshan Ahluwalia

Darshan Ahluwalia is a senior software engineer who has been in the industry for over 10 years. Darshan started their career at Enphase Energy as a staff software engineer. Darshan was responsible for leading the software development for their next generation test platform, which automates the testing of DC-AC inverter products during manufacturing. Darshan was also responsible for maintaining existing test platforms and other software development projects.

In February 2017, Darshan left Enphase Energy to join Aclima, Inc. as a senior software engineer, backend. Darshan was with Aclima for just over a year before joining their current company, Aperio Group, in October 2017.

At Aperio Group, Darshan is once again a senior software engineer. Darshan's primary responsibilities include developing software applications, maintaining existing applications, and providing support to overseas contract manufacturers. Darshan is also responsible for spearheading many of the company's software development practices and tools, including continuous integration (Jenkins), test driven development / unit test, peer programming, and code reviews. In addition to their work at Aperio Group, Darshan also co-leads a weekly Python training meeting for Enphase employees, where they speak on various topics related to Python programming and software development.

They work with Brian Drake - Senior DevOps Engineer, Jacob Barnes - Software Engineer, and Paul Tsyhura - Database Engineer. Darshan Ahluwalia reports to Alex Kancov, Head of Aperio Technology.
