Scott Patterson

Scott Patterson has a diverse background in software engineering. Scott is currently working as a Senior Backend Software Engineer at Aperture Education. Prior to that, they worked at Persistent Systems as a Principal Architect, where they were responsible for designing and developing a data processing server, collaborating with other teams for product releases, and improving performance of data collection/reporting server. Before that, they worked at IBM as an Advisory Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented Java API, created test suites, and developed RESTful web services. Scott also worked at Rational Software as a Software Engineer, where they redesigned synchronization mechanism, produced data models and analytics, and designed system architecture. At the beginning of their career, they worked at Teradyne as a Software Engineer, where they installed and tested protocol validation suites, upgraded Linux development machines, and redesigned test environments.

Scott Patterson attended Boston University from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer System Engineering.
