Isabelle Friedrich McTwigan has a diverse work experience in various industries. Isabelle started their career as an intern at the Brooklyn Museum in 2007, followed by an internship at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art in 2009. In 2010, they worked at The Aperture Foundation as a Circulation and Marketing staff for Aperture Magazine. Isabelle then joined Gilt as a Finance and Operations Specialist, where they tracked and planned for departmental growth. Isabelle also worked as a Merchandising Assistant within the same company, focusing on interdepartmental communications and inventory selection. Isabelle then joined DuJour Media in 2012 as a VP of Business Development, responsible for email strategy, branded placement, and obtaining consumer insights. Their most recent position is Director of Brand Partnerships at Aperture Foundation, which they started in 2017.

Isabelle Friedrich McTwigan began their education at Berkeley Carroll School, where they earned their High School Diploma from 2003 to 2006. Isabelle then went on to attend Trinity College-Hartford from 2006 to 2010, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Public Policy and Law, with a minor in Fine Arts (Painting). In 2016, Isabelle pursued a Summer Study program at Universität der Künste Berlin, focusing specifically on Painting.
