APESS – Mission Statement “APESS is the specialist in realizing challenging energy solutions with maximum system freedom and single-source planning. Security through planning – Calculated, Simulated, Guaranteed! All in One: Everything from a single source. Risk minimization. One contact person. Planning: Predictable, simulations, forecasting capability, investment, guarantees. Maximum system flexibility: Tailor-made, degrees of freedom, flexible, problem-solving expertise. Communicating through emotions, creating images, realizing lighthouse projects, taking on a pioneering role, protection against energy crises, charisma, independence, defining and eliciting goals, storytelling and comprehensible narratives, increasing the value of real estate.” What distinguishes “APESS” projects? APESS has significant leverage in two types of projects: 1. A standard solution is not feasible. Noise requirements, building regulations, historic preservation, special space constraints, combination of heat sources, integration of waste heat, conversion of existing solutions (especially when existing infrastructure is to be integrated), conversion during ongoing operations. 2. The operating cost savings are significant. Very high energy demands, large air volumes. APESS unlocks potential for improvement (in areas with high exhaust air temperatures and humidity). Which projects fall into these categories? Conversion of buildings (Atrium Weimar*), projects in historic city centers, old buildings, industrial plants in the city (noise), modernization of existing buildings (hospitals, shopping centers, rehabilitation centers, etc.), conversion of high-temperature systems (gas, oil) to low-temperature systems. Focus on new construction and renovation. Airports  Opportunities/Risk Matrix: Hospitals, shopping centers, hotels, thermal baths, breweries, meat processing plants, dairies, laundries, data centers.
