Chad Sheehy

Chad Sheehy currently serves as the Chief Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Officer at APEX, beginning September 2023. Prior to this role, Chad held the position of Director at the Public Service Pride Network, where significant contributions included the development of the organization's first multi-year Strategic Plan for 2023-2025. Chad's extensive experience at Health Canada spanned nearly two decades, featuring leadership roles such as National Director of the Medical Devices Compliance Program, Manager of Regulatory Policy and Risk Management, and various positions focused on compliance verification and inspections related to medical devices and clinical trials. Chad possesses a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, a Bachelor of Science from Dalhousie University, and an Executive Certificate in Public Leadership from Harvard Kennedy School, complemented by a Certificate in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion from Cambridge Judge Business School.
