Angad Sachdeva

Angad Sachdeva is an accomplished professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Director of Solar Technology at Apex Clean Energy since August 2022, where notable achievements include authoring a PV module procurement strategy and securing deals for 1 GW of projects worth $381 million. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Meteorologist at Avangrid Renewables, where energy estimates for 4 GW of solar projects were produced, and as a Performance Engineer at Borrego Solar Systems, focusing on performance modeling standards and PV production estimates for over 400 MW of projects. Angad began a career in solar engineering at United Solar Associates, LLC, designed residential and commercial systems, and contributed to research on organic solar cells as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Virginia. Angad holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
