Matt Cooperrider

Matt Cooperrider is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Vice President of New Markets and Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Apex Clean Energy since January 2022. Previously, Matt held various finance and development positions at Apex Clean Energy from August 2012 to July 2020, culminating in the role of Senior Director, Finance. Additional experience includes a Summer Fellowship at Yale Ventures and a Development Intern role at Res-Americas. Matt began a career in management at McMaster-Carr, participating in their Management Development Program. Educational credentials include a Master of Environmental Management from Yale University and a Bachelor's degree in Evolutionary Biology, Environmental Sciences, and Anthropology from Case Western Reserve University, alongside study abroad experience at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand.
