Richard Baker

Richard Baker has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Richard is currently the Director of Project Finance and Corporate Strategy at Apex Clean Energy since January 2024. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Manager of Project Finance and Corporate Strategy at Apex Clean Energy from October 2020 to January 2024. Before joining Apex Clean Energy, Richard worked as an Investment Banking Associate at J.P. Morgan from June 2018 to October 2020. Richard also gained experience as an Investment Banking Summer Associate at J.P. Morgan in June 2017. Richard's career started as a Due Diligence Analyst at BB&T from April 2014 to June 2016. Richard also worked as a Brokerage Associate at Vanguard from August 2012 to April 2014.

Richard Baker attended St. Christopher's School, graduating in 2008. Richard then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a focus on Finance, Risk Management & Insurance at the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business from 2008 to 2012. In 2016, they enrolled in the Emory University - Goizueta Business School and earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance in 2018.
