Jorge Garcia-Zuazaga, MD, MBA, FAAD, FACMS has a diverse work experience in the dermatology field. Jorge began their career in 2004 as the Director of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Aesthetic Dermatology at the University Hospitals of Cleveland, Case Western Reserve University. After 7 years in this role, they went on to found Apex Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center in 2011, where they currently serve as the Founder/CEO.

Jorge Garcia-Zuazaga, MD, MBA, FAAD, FACMS completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Marquette University in 1993. Jorge then pursued a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering at Iowa State University from 1993 to 1995. In 1999, they obtained their Medical Doctor (MD) degree from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine.

Dr. Garcia-Zuazaga continued their education by specializing in Dermatology at Case Western Reserve University from 2004 to 2007, where they earned their Dermatology degree. Jorge further enhanced their expertise by completing a Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Aesthetic Dermatology fellowship at Harvard Medical School from 2007 to 2008.

In 2011, Dr. Garcia-Zuazaga attended the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, obtaining an MBA degree in the field of study of MBA.
