Doug LaBombard is an experienced professional in the fields of operations and technology development, currently serving as Vice President of Special Projects at Apex Group USA since 2024. Previously, Doug owned and operated CertaPro Painters, overseeing all aspects of business management, and served as Franchise Owner/President of CertaPro of Midland, TX. Doug’s background includes significant roles at Baker Hughes and Caprock, where successful initiatives included the establishment of distribution channels and product innovations. From 1989 to 2014, Doug held the position of Global Product Line Manager at Weatherford International, managing various products and enhancing P&L metrics. Doug's career began as a Pumping Specialist at Sargent Industries, focusing on sales and application of electric motors and automation. Doug is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Management at The University of Texas Permian Basin.
