Jim Thompson has extensive experience in operations management within the manufacturing and avionics sectors. Currently serving as Director of Operations at Apex Microtechnology since January 2020, Jim previously held roles such as Repair Station Manager at Universal Avionics Systems Corporation and Focus Factory Manager at Securaplane Technologies, where key responsibilities included managing repair stations, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring FAA compliance. Earlier positions included Director of Operations at Cirrus Logic and VP of Operations at Apex Microtechnology, where Jim focused on hybrid manufacturing management, new product development, and process efficiency improvements. Jim holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, along with an Associate's degree in Electronics.
