Russell Barnes

Russell Barnes is an experienced marketing and publishing professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Head of Marketing at APEX RACING UK LTD since April 2023, Russell previously held significant roles at Raspberry Pi, including Head of Publishing and Managing Editor from March 2015 to February 2023. Prior to that, Russell worked as an editor at Imagine Publishing for seven years, where impressive achievements included launching a new PC gaming title and revitalizing the Linux User brand. Russell's freelance experience from 2003 to 2016 as a computer and technology journalist involved producing influential content for various UK magazines, fostering relationships with prominent publishers, and engaging with industry experts. Russell’s educational background includes attendance at Lytchett Minster School from 1989 to 1994.
