Ellie McPhail is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the events and hospitality industry. Currently serving as a Senior Venue Find and Events Sales Executive at ExecSpace since July 2022, Ellie also contributes as a Personal Development Mentor at Apex Scotland. Previous roles include a Temporary Customer Assistant at Tesco during the Covid-19 pandemic and Operations Supervisor at Residence Inn by Marriott. Earlier experience at Marriott International includes serving as a Front Office Associate. Ellie holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management from Queen Margaret University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts from Northumbria University.

Apex Scotland
Apex Scotland provides a range of services from our hubs across Scotland, that support those who have experience of the justice system, and those at risk of entering it. This includes early intervention initiatives specifically focussed on young people, the provision of practical and emotional support, training and employability programmes together with focussed help that responds to individual needs. We understand those we support and care for require interventions that are person-centred, recognising their own individual, unique needs and circumstances. Our work is delivered by specialist, dedicated staff who adopt a trauma informed approach and put service users at the heart of their decision making. We are proud of the impact we have and believe our work makes a meaningful, genuine and positive difference to the lives of some of the most vulnerable in our society.
