Sandeep Badida

Sandeep Badida has over 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Sandeep is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Apex Semiconductor, where they lead a team in delivering hyper-efficient ASIC solutions and development platforms. Prior to starting Apex Semiconductor in 2018, Sandeep served as the VP of Processor Design at Ampere, where they were responsible for delivering next-generation products for cloud computing and data centers. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at AppliedMicro as the VP of Engineering, leading the migration and integration of global engineering and technology teams. Before that, Sandeep was the VP of Engineering at Veloce Technologies, which was acquired by AppliedMicro. Sandeep also held the position of Director of Engineering at Montalvo Systems and worked as an ASIC Design Engineer at Siara Systems/Redback Networks. Sandeep began their career at Advanced Micro Devices/NexGen, where they worked as a Technical Staff member and contributed to the development of the K6 microprocessor chip.

Sandeep Badida obtained a Masters of Science degree in Computer Science from Western Michigan University, completing the program in 1994.
