Evie King

Evie King has a diverse range of work experience. In 2016, they worked as the Marketing Director for Fred & Co., where they created visually engaging window displays and managed the store's Instagram account. From 2018 to 2019, Evie was an Intern News Reporter for Community Idea Stations, producing local news spots and feature stories. Evie also served as a Marketing Intern for the Richmond Symphony, managing their social media accounts and creating engaging content. In 2019, Evie worked as a Marketing Coordinator for DOOR KINETIC ARTS INC, coordinating marketing efforts for the arts festival. Evie also gained experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University, providing sewing instruction and garment alterations for theater classes. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Box Office Attendant at THE BROADBERRY LLC, providing customer service and managing ticketing systems. Most recently, Evie worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Dwyer Plumbing, Heating & Air, overseeing all marketing efforts and implementing successful campaigns to increase revenue. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Brand Manager at Apex Service Partners.

Evie King completed their Bachelor's degree in Digital Journalism from Virginia Commonwealth University, where they studied from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended Lawrence University from 2014 to 2016, majoring in Theatre and Psychology. Evie's educational journey began at Interlochen Center for the Arts, where they pursued their passion for theatre from 2009 to 2013.
