Mariela Z.

Mariela Z. has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Mariela started their career as a Sales Lead at Ann Taylor in 2007 and worked there until 2009. Mariela then joined Western Electricity Coordinating Council as an Accounting Clerk from December 2010 to November 2011. In 2012, Mariela worked at Goldman Sachs as an Interest Rate Derivatives Analyst. From 2013 to 2014, they interned at Grant Thornton LLP as an Audit Intern. Mariela later returned to Grant Thornton LLP and served as an Audit Associate from September 2014 to July 2015. Mariela then progressed to the role of Senior Audit Associate and worked from August 2015 to July 2018. Mariela became an Audit Manager at Grant Thornton LLP in August 2018 and held this position until November 2020. In December 2020, Mariela joined Downeast Home & Clothing as a Controller before being promoted to VP of Finance in October 2021. Mariela worked in these roles until April 2023 when they joined Apex Service Partners as the Mountain West Regional Controller.

Mariela Z. completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Accounting from Westminster University from 2010 to 2011. Mariela then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Accounting from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business from 2013 to 2014.
