Akash Menon

Akash Menon has a diverse work experience that spans multiple companies and roles. Akash is currently working at USAA as a Data Engineer, where they are responsible for building a cloud-based Bank Marketing Analytics Reporting warehouse. Prior to this, they worked at Apexon as a Data Engineer, starting in 2020.

In 2019, Akash was the Co-Founder of EnvironFlo, a company focused on providing an eco-friendly solution for oil-water separation and clean-up. Akash utilized their extensive research experience to develop an innovative oil-water separation device.

During the same year, Akash also held the position of Executive Vice President at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. In this role, they organized various events for graduate business students and supervised the activities of ten graduate business clubs. Akash represented the business school in the Graduate Student Council.

In 2019, Akash worked as an Independent Consultant for The Entrepreneurs EDGE. Akash conducted market research and feasibility analyses for a mid-sized firm, identifying new business opportunities.

Starting in 2014, Akash worked at Gill Industries as a Product Engineer. Akash held this role from 2016 to 2018 and previously served as an Engineering Intern from 2014 to 2015.

Akash Menon completed their education in a sequential manner. Akash attended Bishop Cotton Boys' School from 1998 to 2009, where they obtained their ICSE (10th Grade) degree. After that, they pursued a Pre-University Course (12th Grade) at Deeksha Center of Learning from 2009 to 2011. Subsequently, from 2011 to 2013, they attended Manipal Academy of Higher Education, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Akash then pursued further education at Kettering University from 2013 to 2015, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering.

In 2018, Akash Menon enrolled at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University for their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Business Administration, Management, and Operations. Akash completed their MBA in 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Akash Menon has also acquired various certifications. In 2016, they completed the "Basic Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing" certification from Grand Rapids Community College. Furthermore, in 2020, they obtained several certifications including "Hands On Snowflake - WebUI Essentials" from Snowflake, "Tableau Desktop Specialist" from Tableau Software, "Complete SQL Bootcamp" from Udemy, "Agile Foundations" from LinkedIn, and "Six Sigma Green Belt" from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
