Ricardo Lopes

Ricardo Lopes began their career in 2013 as an Internship at Prosa S.r.l. Later that year, they joined CRITICAL Software as a Software & Security Product Assurance Engineer, where they worked on Quality Assurance projects for Maritime Security and Government related areas. In 2015, they joined Feedzai as a QA Tech Lead for the Solutions Cluster, where they worked on standardizing the QA Stack, developing libraries and frameworks, and designing a standard Release Process. In 2019, they became a Founding Member of QA Coimbra, an organization that congregates quality assurance and software testing enthusiasts in Coimbra. Currently, they are a QA Lead at Apheris.

Ricardo Lopes completed their high school education at Instituto Vaz Serra between 2000 and 2008. Ricardo then went on to pursue a Licentiate degree in Engenharia Informática at Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra from 2008 to 2013. In 2012, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Università Ca' Foscari Venezia. Finally, in 2017, they completed their Post-graduation in Informatics Security from Universidade de Coimbra, with a focus on Networks and Systems Security. In addition to their formal education, Ricardo Lopes has obtained a number of certifications from various institutions, including Code Of Talent, MIT Professional Education, Elastic, ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board, and Coursera.
