Guisou Zarbalian

Guisou Zarbalian is a seasoned professional in the field of public health, with extensive experience in newborn screening and genetics. Currently serving as Manager and Senior Specialist at APHL since February 2014, responsibilities include collaborating with public health laboratories and partners to enhance newborn screening resources, managing symposium planning, and supporting quality control initiatives. Prior to APHL, Guisou held multiple roles at Circle Solutions, Inc., where leadership as a National Children's Study Health Writer/Editor/Analyst and project associate included managing document translations and communications. Guisou's background also features a graduate internship at the US EPA focusing on children's environmental health, along with editorial experience at George Washington University. Academic qualifications include an MPH in Maternal and Child Health, a certificate in Marketing, and an MS in Pharmacology.
