Laura Carlton is an experienced professional in informatics and epidemiology with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Manager and previously as Senior Specialist in Informatics at APHL - Association of Public Health Laboratories since March 2015, Laura has demonstrated expertise in public health laboratory systems. Prior roles include Project Coordinator at The St. John Group and Associate Scientist in Epidemiology at ENVIRON. Laura began the career as a Research Technician at MAVERIC Core Laboratory and has also provided administrative support at The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts. An academic foundation includes a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience and Behavior from Mount Holyoke College.
