Mohamed Mokhtar

Mohamed Mokhtar has extensive experience in the technology industry. Mohamed is currently the Chief Executive Officer of aphrie, and a Technology Senior Executive. Prior to this, they were the Service Management Director at Vodafone from 2014 to 2022, where they were a member of the Senior Leadership team with a delivery team in the hundreds and a large budget. Mohamed was also the Network Strategy and Architecture Manager at Vodafone Qatar from 2013 to 2014, and the Chief Technology Officer at Alcatel-Lucent from 1997 to 1998. Before that, they held various roles at Mobile Communication Group from 1998 to 2013, including IN/VAS Local Project Manager, IN/VAS Technical Project Manager, Senior NSS/IN Technical Support, and NSS Field Engineer.

Mohamed Mokhtar completed a Bsc in Communication and Electronics from Ain Shams University in 1997, and a Bsc in Electronics and Communication engineering from Ain Shams University - Faculty of Engineering in 1997.
