API was born from a belief that AI should be accessible, not exclusive. What started as an open community in Porto grew into a network of talented engineers, researchers, and advisors who now work together to help companies scale intelligently with AI.

Today, we operate as an AI consultancy focused on real outcomes: automation, product development, strategic guidance, training, and governance. Our community roots keep us grounded we listen first, understand your business, and build AI that truly supports it.

And as we grow, our identity doesn’t change. We continue to host open, free events and spaces for knowledge-sharing. In a fast-paced world, the best way to learn is by connecting, collaborating, and growing together.
