Nancy Parris, RN, BSN, PHN, RHIA, MPH, CIC, CPHQ, FAPIC, serves as the COO and Managing Director at Infection Prevention & Control Resources, overseeing operations and providing training for Infection Preventionists in Long-Term Care facilities. In addition to current roles as an Infection Prevention Consultant for Expert Stewardship, Inc. and APIC Consulting Services, Inc., Parris educates healthcare professionals on COVID-19 safety practices and infection control measures. With extensive experience that includes being a faculty member for the APIC Education Team and directing the Epidemiology and Infection Prevention Department at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center, Parris enhances infection prevention strategies across healthcare settings. Educational achievements include a Master's in Public Health from UCLA and a Bachelor's in Nursing from the University of California, San Francisco.
