Diogo M. Santana

Diogo M. Santana has over nine years of work experience. From 2011 to 2013, they held a Research Scholarship at the Software Engineering Laboratory at UFMG, where they developed software tools in Java to improve the quality and maintainability of software. In 2012, they worked at UFMG Informática Júnior as a Communication Manager, Web Developer, and Trainee. During this time, they improved employee management by developing an automated time and attendance system and developed web systems for small companies. From 2013 to 2015, they held internships at the Free Software Laboratory at UFMG, where they developed a methodology which generated dynamic indexes to evaluate the web and optimized query time of a database composed of data crawled from several Brazilian websites. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Software Developer at CERMOB, where they implemented encryption and decryption of data using PKCS#11 standard. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Software Engineer at SOFTRUCK, where they developed REST APIs and microservices for a vehicle fleet management, monitoring, and locking SaaS system using Node.js. Since 2018, they have been a Team Lead and Full Stack Developer at Apicbase, where they are responsible for the technical overview of all integration projects with third parties, software architecture design, the evaluation of technical requirements, and the management of a small team. Diogo is also responsible for mentoring newly hired developers.

Diogo M. Santana attended Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais from 2011 to 2016 and earned a Bacharelado in Sistemas de Informação. In 2014, they also attended Auckland University of Technology for Computer and Information Sciences, General.
