Grigorios Tsoumakas

Grigorios Tsoumakas is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in computer science and artificial intelligence. Since August 2007, Grigorios has held various academic positions at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, including Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Lecturer. In addition, Grigorios co-founded Medoid AI in February 2019, where Grigorios serves as Chief Scientific Officer and Academic Co-founder. Currently, Grigorios is an Advisory Board Member at evAI Intelligence GmbH and has previously worked as an Academic Visitor at IBM in 2019. Grigorios began their career as a Programmer at Dynamic Blue from 1999 to 2000. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, an MSc in Artificial Intelligence from The University of Edinburgh, and a BSc in Computer Science from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
