Michael Engle

Michael Engle is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital identity technology and security. As Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer at 1Kosmos - BlockID since March 2019, Michael has focused on early-stage investment and business strategy. Current roles include serving on the Board of Directors for the Kantara Initiative and Contxt, as well as Managing Director at 1414 Ventures, which invests in nascent digital identity startups. Prior to these endeavors, Michael co-founded Bastille Networks and operated 2-Track Solutions, a company specializing in tracking technologies. Michael's career began at Lehman Brothers, where as Senior Vice President of Information and Corporate Security, responsibility included integrating IT and physical security measures. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from York College of Pennsylvania.
