Faizel Lakhani

Faizel Lakhani is the CEO at APIsec. Prior to joining APIsec, Faizel served as the CEO at Guavus, a big data company, where they helped transform it into a stand-alone analytics business within Thales. Faizel also served as the President, Chief Operating Officer, and Board Member at SS8, Inc., where they shifted the company from a Lawful Interception Company to a Network Intelligence Company. Additionally, Faizel spent three years at McAfee as the VP Data Loss Prevention, during which time they grew the business 10x and extended industry mindshare through leadership positions in the Gartner MQs / Forrester Waves.

Faizel Lakhani has a B. Eng in engineering from [McMaster University, a Masters in Eng from Carleton University, and an MBA in strategy from the University of Ottawa. Faizel also has a Hon Doctorate of Science in engineering from McMaster University.
