Dennis Lorson is an experienced R&D engineer specializing in computer vision and bioinformatics, currently employed at Apixa since July 2023. Previous roles include Research Engineer in computer vision at miDiagnostics, where work involved machine learning algorithms and data analysis for inline holographic flow cytometry, and R&D Engineer at Agilent Technologies, focusing on predictive models for genetic tests using high-throughput sequencing data. Earlier positions at Biocartis and Diploid involved developing bioinformatics tools and variant annotation platforms, respectively. Earlier career experience includes software engineering at Orbicule, where Dennis contributed to the development of an anti-theft application for Macs.
