Jonathan Tang

Jonathan Tang has a strong background in quality assurance and operations management. Jonathan began their career as a Junior Software Developer at Norac in 2000. From there, they worked at SunGard Data Systems as a Quality Assurance Analyst, where they specialized in aggregated data calculations and implemented enhancements to the web financial advisory portal. Jonathan then joined Encore Credit Corp as a Lead QA Analyst, where they implemented updates for the Empower Mortgage origination software. Jonathan later moved to LaSalle Bank, North America as an AVP/Manager of Release Control, where they established and enforced department-level SDLC processes. Jonathan's next position was at Bank of America, where they served as a VP/Senior Quality Manager, responsible for organizing and deploying the technology delivery stack across multiple departments. After that, they joined LPL Financial as an AVP, first serving as a Lead QA Engineer and then as a Product Owner/Analyst. During their time at LPL Financial, Jonathan designed an automated regression platform and implemented a QA training program. Most recently, they worked at Interpreta as a QA Manager, where they oversaw software QA test resourcing, performance testing, and automation. Jonathan also updated the release organizational delivery and established a defined release schedule. Jonathan's current role is Director of Operations at Apixio, which they began in 2023.

Jonathan Tang attended UCLA from 1993 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. From 1999 to 2001, they studied at DeVry University in Pomona and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Sciences.
