Laura Breisch

Laura Breisch has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Laura currently holds the position of Vice President of Coding Operations at Apixio since August 2023. Previously, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Second Wave Delivery Systems from February 2023 to August 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Vice President of Value Capture at Oscar Health from October 2019 to February 2023. Laura also worked at Health First, where they served as the Vice President of Performance Improvement from January 2018 to October 2019. Additionally, they held the position of Director of Government Programs at Health First for over 14 years, overseeing various federal and state contracts. Laura started their career as a Claims Specialist at Blue Cross and Blue Shield in 1999 and later joined Aon as a Claims Specialist. Laura has a strong background in healthcare operations, government programs, and performance improvement.

Laura Breisch attended Marquette University from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Accounting. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Florida Institute of Technology. Additionally, they hold a certification from the Professional Academy of Healthcare Management at America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP).
