Allyson Mitchell is an experienced sustainability leader currently serving as Vice President of Sustainability at Apkudo since March 2024. Previously, Allyson held the position of Vice President of Sustainability at Mobile reCell from January 2023 to April 2024. With a strong background in circular economy initiatives, Allyson was the Executive Director of Circular Indiana from March 2018 to November 2022 and held leadership roles at Prosperity Indiana and the Greenways Foundation of Indiana. Additionally, Allyson has academic experience as an Associate Professor at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis and has contributed to sustainability policy development for the City of Indianapolis. Allyson holds a JD from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and advanced degrees in Landscape Architecture and Landscape Horticulture & Design from the University of Michigan and Purdue University, respectively.
