John Chan

John Chan has over 30 years of experience in database management and administration, with a strong focus on Teradata systems. Currently serving as a Manager of Database at NOL since July 2009, John has previously held significant roles including Senior Lead Database Administrator at APL Limited and Senior Teradata Database Administrator at Providian Financial. John has been instrumental in managing complex database environments, designing data warehousing solutions, and developing ETL processes across various industries. John holds multiple degrees, including an MBA in Information Systems from the Wisconsin School of Business and dual MS degrees in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Illinois Institute of Technology, along with a BS in Mathematics from the State University of New York at Fredonia.
