Currently serving as Président directeur général at Faste Communication since January 2006, Normand has previously held significant roles such as Directeur régional at Groupe Le Canada Français from 1999 to 2005, where responsibilities included the revitalization of three weekly newspapers. Between 1995 and 1999, Normand co-owned and managed Hôtel Relais Gouverneur, and from 1978 to 1995, held multiple positions at Diffusion Power, culminating in the role of general manager after starting as a radio announcer.
