Erik Ricardo Díaz Orozco has held various positions in the financial sector since 2008. Erik Ricardo began their career at Caja Popular Mexicana as a Senior Credit Risk Specialist. In 2010, they joined Banco Azteca as a Senior Credit Risk Manager and Credit Risk Manager. In 2013, they moved to Nacional Monte de Piedad as an Origination and Collections Model Manager. In 2016, they became the Chief Risk Officer at La Paz - SOFIPO, where they created the institution's risk area and designed the strategy of resource allocation and capital management. In 2017, they took on the role of Head of Risk at 4finance, where they designed and implemented the underwriting and portfolio management strategy. In 2019, they became the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Klar, where they were responsible for the design, implementation and operation of credit and collections strategy, product, risk exposure appetite, risk rules and policies, portfolio management, fraud, data science, modelling and simulation, loan loss provisions and capital requirements. In 2020, they joined Fincomún | Servicios Financieros Comunitarios as a Credit Director, leading the company's digital transformation on the credit side. Currently, they are the Head of Credit at Aplazo.
Erik Ricardo Díaz Orozco obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Universidad de Guanajuato between 2002 and 2006. Erik Ricardo then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Risk Management from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México between 2015 and 2017.
