Daniel Deighton

Daniel Deighton has extensive experience in the IT industry. Daniel began their career in 2000 as the Owner/Consultant of Deightime, LLC. In 2001, they joined the Space Telescope Science Institute as a Security Consultant, Security Engineer, Webmaster, and System Administrator. Theirrole as Security Consultant involved developing and implementing the security infrastructure at STScI, as well as improving security tools and techniques to reduce risks. In 2005, they co-founded Aplura, LLC, where they currently serve as Principal.

Daniel Deighton began their educational journey at Berkley High School, where they graduated in 1992. Daniel then attended the University of Michigan, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in 1996.
