Kyle Smith

Kyle Smith is an experienced Integration Developer at Aplura, LLC, leading the Splunk Application Development team since May 2015. Previously, Kyle served as an Infrastructure Analyst at The Hershey Company, where responsibilities included configuring and maintaining various application and web servers while also leading Splunk administration efforts. As a contractor for Octoblu, Kyle contributed to the setup of the Splunk environment and developed a data analysis page using AngularJS. Earlier roles include Systems Engineer and Systems Programmer at York College of Pennsylvania, focusing on email and directory services, along with custom application development. Kyle's military background includes nine years as a Vehicle Mechanic in the United States Army, with two deployments to Iraq. Kyle holds a Master of Science in Data Analytics and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both from York College of Pennsylvania.
