David Bank

EVP & Chief Strategy & Corporate Development Officer at A+E Networks

David Bank is EVP, Chief Strategy & Corporate Development Officer, for A+E Networks®. Named to the role in July 2019, Bank is responsible for long-term strategy and business development plans, including identifying potential partners in the marketplace and exploring opportunities that align with the company’s forecasted objectives. Bank oversees efforts to invest in early-stage media, content and technology companies to grow current business and launch new business lines that leverage the powerful A+E Networks® brands and infrastructure.

Bank is a veteran analyst and Wall Street professional with expertise in the media and entertainment industry. He currently serves on the board of Johnson Production Group.

Prior to joining A+E Networks, he served as Executive Vice President and Head of CBS Corporation’s Investor Relations. Previously, Bank held a 16-year career as a sell-side equity research analyst as Managing Director at RBC Capital Markets where he primarily covered large-cap media and entertainment companies. He also served as Associate Director of the U.S. Equity Research department at RBC. Bank began his career as an investment banker focused on financial institutions at First Boston, then joined Furman Selz as an investment banker focused on media.

Bank holds a BA from Williams College and an MBA from The Yale School of Management.
