Claudia Smith

Claudia Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. In 2018, they co-founded APLYID and served as the Chief Revenue & Operating Officer, responsible for delivering global expansion opportunities for their SaaS solution. Claudia specialized in AML, CDD, KYC solutions. In 2019, they co-founded Renti, a company providing on-boarding SaaS solutions for Property Management. Prior to these ventures, Claudia co-founded MoovMe Ltd in 2015, which offered a convenient online platform for updating service providers during a move. Before becoming an entrepreneur, they worked as a Consultant for Wynyard Group, an International Strategy & Business Development Manager for LexisNexis, and in Global Strategy & Corporate Development for Experian plc. Claudia also gained consulting experience at Fidelity Wireless and Anthem Corporate Finance, where they provided M&A, fundraising, and strategic advice to various clients. Claudia started their career as a Corporate Finance Analyst at PricewaterhouseCoopers and as a Research Assistant at ABN AMRO Bank N.V.

Claudia Smith attended the University of Otago from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree. Claudia'sfield of study was focused on Finance and Economics.
