Karen Chu

Karen Chu has extensive experience in both education and operations management. Currently serving as Operations and HR at APM Help & Bookkeeping since June 2018, Karen previously held roles as Lead Educator at AltSchool and Founding First Grade Teacher at Rocketship Education. Karen's educational background includes a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education from The University of Texas at Austin, along with a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas Woman's University and Sam Houston State University. Prior to these roles, Karen contributed as a Reading Recovery Teacher, First Grade Teacher, and First Grade Team Leader at Fort Bend ISD between August 2010 and July 2015.
