Hans Jongejan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Hans began their career in 1993 at the Ministerie van Defensie, where they held various junior and intermediate management positions before becoming a commanding officer and later a strategic adviser on foreign policy. After leaving the Ministry of Defense, they worked as a senior project manager and interim manager at Auditconnect b.v. and KZA, where they focused on business-IT projects and process improvement. Hans then transitioned to the construction industry, working as a project manager and tender manager at BAM Infra Nederland and later as a business manager at KWS Infra. In 2018, they joined APM Terminals as a senior manager and later became the project director for the MVII-Expansion. Additionally, Hans Jongejan has served as the chairman of Bredase Rugby Club since 2013.
Hans Jongejan attended RGO Middelharnis - VWO-B from 1982 to 1988. Hans then pursued civil engineering at the Royal Military Academy from 1988 to 1993. In 2014, they briefly attended BAM Business School to study BAM Manager.
