Keith Svendsen

Keith Svendsen has extensive work experience in the shipping and logistics industry. Keith currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of APM Terminals since June 2022, and previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer from February 2017 to June 2022. Prior to their tenure at APM Terminals, they worked at A.P. Moller - Maersk for over two decades, holding various roles including VP, Head of Operational Execution. In addition, they have also served as an independent Non-Executive Director and board member for various companies since March 2012.

Keith Svendsen's education history includes various programs and courses from esteemed institutions. In 1992 to 1995, they attended Fanø Navigations Skole and obtained a Master Mariner degree in Maritime studies. Keith later pursued A.P. Moller's MAESTRO program at MAESTRO from 1998 to 2000. In 2001, they attended INSEAD for an International Project Management course. In 2005 to 2006, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree at the London Business School. Keith then enrolled in the Leading for Results program at INSEAD in 2008. Svendsen participated in the Advanced Management Program 194 at Harvard University in 2018. In 2019, they completed the Lean Practitioner course at Lean Academy and also attended the Leadership at the Peak program at the Center for Creative Leadership. Additionally, Keith Svendsen studied Working in China at the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in 2010. Keith further enhanced their skills by attending the Board Director Diploma program at IMD from 2021 to 2022. In 2022, they participated in the Strategy Program with Professor Jesper Sorensen at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
