Tom Stepan

Tom Stepan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operational management and logistics within the maritime and shipping industries. Currently serving as Project Lead and Digital Operations Lead for NAM at APM Terminals since January 2017, Tom has held multiple roles including Assistant Operations Manager in both Customer Service and Marine areas. Prior to APM Terminals, Tom worked at Page & Jones, Inc. as a liaison for vessel operations, and served as Warehouse Manager at Toys"R"Us. Tom's earlier career included a significant position as Operations Manager at Sisco Stevedoring, where responsibilities involved managing employees and ensuring compliance with transportation protocols. Additionally, Tom held the role of Port Captain during the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill, managing logistics for a fleet of vessels and coordinating relief efforts. Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a focus on Management Operations and Logistics from Saint John's University.
