Maggie Kneller has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Maggie started their career in 1995 with ISEB, where they held various positions including ITIL Examiner, Deputy Chair of Exam Panel, Executive Chair, and Chair of IT Service Management Board. In 2001, they joined AXA UK as the UK Head of IT Service Delivery, Euro Programme Director, and IT Commercial Manager. Starting from 2004, they worked as a Strategic Business & IT Consultant at Kneller & Newlands. In 2005, they began their association with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, where they held numerous roles including Assessor, Assessor for CITP, CEng and Fellowship, Bristol Branch Secretary, Member of Membership Board, Member of Policy & Public Affairs Board, Trustee, Vice Chair of Council, Chair of the Membership Board Best Practice Committee, Member of Products & Services Board, and Council Member. Additionally, they served as Chairman of itSMF UK in 2007 and as Interim Chief Executive of itSMF UK and International in 2006. Maggie also worked at APMG-International as the Chief Examiner SL Analyst, and at APMG Group as the ITIL Examiner and MALC Review Project Manager. Finally, they were a Member of Service Management Working Group WG25 at BSI.
Maggie Kneller's education history includes several degrees and certifications. Maggie obtained an MBA with a specialization in IT Hybrid from Henley Business School, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. Prior to that, they earned a Post-grad Diploma in Statistics from UCL in 1972-1973. Maggie also holds a BSc in Pure Mathematics from Swansea University, which they obtained from 1969 to 1972. Additionally, Maggie completed their secondary education at Colton's Girls' School, where they obtained 3 'A' levels and 10 'O' levels in Pure Maths, Applied Maths, and Physics between 1962 and 1969.
Moreover, Maggie Kneller has obtained numerous certifications, including the IACCM Foundation in Contract and Commercial Management from APMG-International in April 2014. In October 2012, they achieved certifications in ASL 2 Foundation, BiSL Foundation, ITIL Planning Protection and Optimization, ITIL Service Operation, and Service Level Analyst, all from APMG-International. In August 2012, they completed certifications for ITIL Expert, ITIL Managing across the Lifecycle, ITIL Operational Support and Analysis, ITIL Release Control and Validation, and ITIL Continual Service Improvement. Additionally, in July 2012, they obtained certifications in ITIL Service Design, ITIL Service Offerings and Agreements, ITIL Service Transition, and ITIL Service Strategy. Maggie also achieved the ITIL Foundation certification in August 2011 and obtained certifications in Problem Analyst and ISO/IEC 20000 Auditor in July 2011. Furthermore, Maggie holds the Chartered IT Professional / Certificate of Current Competence from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, which they obtained in June 2010. Lastly, they obtained an honorary certification in ITIL Service Strategy in January 2010 from APM Group (Official Accreditor).
