Fatima Cody Stanford

Fatima Cody Stanford is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School, serving since July 2012, where responsibilities include directing the Diversity Nutrition Obesity Research Center and co-directing the NORCH Diversity Scholars program. Additional roles include course tutoring in Health Care Policy and Clinical Nutrition, as well as serving as a Research Fellow in Obesity Medicine & Nutrition. Fatima holds various advisory positions, including on the boards of Amgen, Eli Lilly and Company, Currax Pharmaceuticals LLC, and Sweetch, and is a member of the Board of Directors for The Obesity Society, and a Senior Diversity Equity and Inclusion Advisor for the National Institutes of Health. Fatima's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia, a Master of Public Health from Emory University, a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, and an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology & Human Biology from Emory University.
