Matt Shepard

Matt Shepard is a Senior Systems Engineer at Apogee Research, LLC since December 2020. Previously, Matt served as a Flight Dynamics Software Engineer and Product Owner at OneWeb, Ltd from July 2016 to March 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing orbit determination, conjunction assessment, and maneuver planning while leading a team of developers and testers. Prior experience includes positions as a Flight Dynamics Engineer at Intelsat and an Associate Technical Support Engineer at MicroStrategy. Matt began their career as a Technical Analysis Engineer Intern at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc, contributing to missile trajectory simulations. Matt holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering specializing in Orbital Mechanics and Dynamics from Virginia Tech, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the same institution.
