Senior Director of Portfolio Strategy at Apogee Therapeutics

Marissa Lynn has held a variety of roles in their career. In 2013, they were a Spring Associate at Close Concerns, where they conducted research and wrote for two subscription based publications. Marissa also presented a poster titled, \"The Cost of Diabetes: Escalating Trends and Cost Drivers\" at the American Diabetes Association's annual conference in Chicago, IL. From 2013 to 2014, they held an English Teaching Assistantship, Fulbright Korea role at the U.S. Department of State, where they taught conversational English and writing at an all-boys middle school to 500 students. In 2014, they were a Program Coordinator at Fulbright Korea, where they led a network of 120 Fulbright English Teaching Assistants (ETAs) and served as the chief liaison between ETAs and the Korean-American Educational Commission. Her duties included orientation planning/oversight, budgeting, outreach work with the US Embassy staff, and biannual conference planning. From 2019 to 2021, they held roles at McKinsey & Company as a Consultant and BridgeBio as a Senior Director Business Development and Operations and Director of Business Development and Operations. Currently, they are a Senior Director of Portfolio Strategy at Apogee Therapeutics.

Marissa Lynn obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Harvard Medical School between 2015 and 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Biochemistry and Asian and Middle Eastern Studies from Dartmouth College between 2009 and 2013. Marissa was also Valedictorian of Bow High School from 2005 to 2009. In 2014, they obtained their TESOL Certification from the International TEFL and TESOL Training.
