Dr. Sangeetha K T

Dr. Sangeetha K T has a wide range of experience in various medical institutions. Dr. Sangeetha currently serves as the Head of the Molecular Lab at Apollo Diagnostics since August 2020. Prior to this, they worked as an Assistant Professor and Hospital infection prevention and control professional at East Point College of Medical Sciences and Research Center from 2017 to 2020. Dr. Sangeetha also held the role of Assistant Professor at Akash Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Center from 2016 to 2017 and at Sree Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre from 2014 to 2015. Earlier in their career, they worked as a PG student/Tutor at Dr. B R Ambedkar Medical College from 2011 to 2014 and as a Junior Resident at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital from 2009 to 2010, specializing in Cardio-vascular surgery and Psychiatry. Dr. Sangeetha began their medical career as a Medical Intern at KVG Medical College and Hospital from 2007 to 2008.

Dr. Sangeetha K T began their education at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, where they earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from 2002 to 2007. Following this, they pursued further studies at the same institution, completing a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medical Microbiology and Bacteriology from 2011 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Dr. Sangeetha K T has obtained several certifications. Dr. Sangeetha completed the Critical Care Infectious Diseases Course at the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine in July 2020. In June 2020, they received training in Molecular Diagnostics from NIMHANS. Furthermore, in 2013, they obtained the NABL Internal Auditor certification from the Foundation for Quality (India).
