Paul Sykes is a highly experienced Principal Engineer at Apollo, where responsibilities include preparing client proposals, conducting engineering analyses, and collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams. With a focus on structural design and integrity management in offshore oil and gas operations, Paul has led projects such as the development of a risk-based inspection program and the structural design for oil tanker conversion projects. Prior roles include Technical Assistant at Aberdeen City Council, where duties involved performing drainage condition surveys and creating traffic management plans, and Engineer at 2H Offshore, focusing on riser and conductor systems. Paul holds an MSc in Construction Project Management and a Master's Degree in Mechanical & Offshore Engineering from Robert Gordon University.
