Bryan Kinney

Bryan Kinney has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Bryan began their career in 2001 as an Insurance Broker at Jordan Ewart Insurance. In 2004, they joined Chutter Underwriting Services Ltd as a Senior Commercial Casualty Underwriter, where they maintained a casualty book with a consistent annual volume in excess of $15 million and was responsible for managing and training junior underwriting staff. In 2013, Bryan moved to Sovereign Insurance as a Team Lead & Senior Underwriting Specialist, providing mentoring, coaching, and technical assistance to senior, intermediate, and junior underwriting staff. In 2016, Bryan founded and became President of Gift-a-Green, a company that makes greeting cards with a gift inside that recipients can plant, grow, and eat. Most recently, in 2021, they joined APOLLO Insurance as Vice President Of Underwriting and Product Development.

Bryan Kinney attended SIAST from 2003 to 2004, where they studied Computer Application and Design. In 2017, they obtained a certification from Udemy for "An Entire MBA in 1 Course: Award Winning Business School Prof". In December 2022, they obtained a certification from Udemy for "Strategy for Management Consultants and Business Analysts". Bryan also holds a General Agent Level 2 certification from the Insurance Council of BC.
