David Huang

David Huang has over 12 years of professional work experience. David started their career in 2008 as a QA Analyst and Technical Support at Cast Software. In 2010, they moved to Blast Radius as an Interface Developer, where they created cross-browser compatible responsive web templates using HTML5, CSS3, LESS, HTML5Boilerplate, Twitter Bootstrap, Javascript/Jquery, PHP, etc. David also created complex web applications using HTML5 canvas and backbone.js that worked across multiple mobile and tablet devices. In 2014, they joined ESYM as a Partner, Technology, where they built and maintained cross-browser compatible responsive web templates using HTML5, CSS3, Sass, JS, Liquid, etc. David also maintained Shopify content, configurations and templates, created sign up forms for Mailchimp Newsletters, implemented Addthis social share functionality, and implemented event/page tracking using Google Analytics. Later that year, they joined Bell Media as a Front-End Web Developer, where they created cross-browser compatible responsive web templates using HTML5, CSS3, Sass, BackboneJS, AngularJS, etc. In 2015, they moved to Move, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer and UI Developer, where they created and maintained new features on the search and geo location pages of Realtor.com using Next.js, React, styled-jsx, Jest, react testing library. David also assisted in creating the new React map components that are used in multiple apps and is documented by Storybook. In 2021, they joined APOLLO Insurance as a Senior Frontend Engineer.

David Huang attended the University of Toronto from 2005 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Engineering.
